King of the Hill Classic Tournament
November 11th -12th 2017
Welcome Football Fans,
We would like to invite your team to the finest National Tournaments you will attend this year. Its fun filled for the players and the fans with first class competition and hospitality on and off the field. If you’ve been here once you’ll be back again. We take every effort in making sure all have a great time and enjoy our great city and state. If your team is a league team, all-star or travel team it doesn’t matter, you’ll enjoy The King of The Hill Classic.
The King of The Hill Classic consists of 5 tournaments on 4 fields going on at the same time all at the same place. The divisions are contact 8u, 9u, 10u, 11u and 12u tournaments.
The King of The Hill Classic will be held at the state of art youth football complex, Waymond Morris Park located in Owensboro, Kentucky on 5200 Todd bridge road. This facility opened on august 30, 2003, and consists of four new lighted football fields. It is one of the only complexes in the nation built specifically for the purpose of youth football only. This complex is one of the finest complexes in the south. Last year over 60 teams from 10 states competed for the crown. Age of player determined by player’s age as of august 1st of this year. All teams guaranteed three (3) games and a possibility of playing (4) games. All teams will play at least twice on sat. and one game on sunday. But no more than twice on a given day.
Top Two teams in each division will get individual trophies and the top 2 teams in each division will also receive a team trophy. MVP & LINEMEN awards given for each game.
Entry fee is $225.00 per individual team If an organization has multiple teams then fee is $200 per team. Registration fee is kept low for it’s all about the kids and everyone having a good time. We hope to see you again this year as we find out what teams are The King of The Hill.
If your team plays in the King of the Hill Classic and wants to participate in the Ky Cup also then registration fee would be just $100.00 for the Ky Cup.
REMINDER COACHES DO NOT HAVE TO TAKE COACHES CERTIFICATION PROGRAM FOR ANY TOURNAMENTS. CERTIFICATION IS FOR OUR LEAGUE COACHES ONLY.
All individuals who work at the King of The Hill Classic are volunteers and all money collected is circulated back into the local youth football program. No individual in anyway shape or form is profiting from our tournaments.
