INFO BELOW IS FOR THE 13-15 OHIO VALLEY REGIONAL TOURNAMENT JULY 28-AUG. 3 TO BE PLAYED AT CHAUTAUQUA PARK.

AFTER WINNING STATE CHAMPIONSHIP

-You must email Roster, Team Picture and Team Info. To cas8332@hotmail.com or overnight your roster and Team Picture with names in order to Chris Stallings 608 Stockton Dr. Owensboro, Ky. 42303 within 24 hours of winning your State.

-Go to our website www.odcyouthsports.com and hit ODC Babe Ruth League at top left and get all the information you need on weather, maps, hotels, plus much more.

-Letter of eligibility
-Birth Documents or ID Cards (BABE RUTH)
-Accident Insurance Policy
-Liability Insurance Policy
-Certified and signed team roster
-Consent for treatment forms from each player
-Color team photo with identification of players.
-Coaching Certification forms for manager and two coaches.

We do have rooms blocked off for the Tournament at $75.00 dollars a night at Days Inn at 3720 New Hartford Rd. (270-684-9621) and at Ramada Inn at 3136 W. 2nd St. (270-685-3941). Rooms must be booked by July 24th 11pm. After that all rooms will be $89.00. Remember to tell them you’re with OVR Babe Ruth Tournament for special rate. You can search through the hotel listings on our website if you prefer.

When your one-hour away or close to Owensboro and you need help just call 270-485-9554 and we’ll guide you in. Remember we’re Central Daylight Time so plan accordingly.

WELCOMING ORIENTATION

Teams are to arrive at Days Inn at 3720 New Hartford Rd. Room 227 at the following times on Thursday, July 28TH. There will be a short orientation by Ohio Valley Regional officials and Team Credentials are turned in. All times are in Central Time Zone.

2:30 p.m. Host Team (ODC) and Western Kentucky
3:00 p.m. Central Indiana and Southern Illinois
3:30 p.m. Eastern Kentucky and Southern Indiana
4:15 p.m. Northern Illinois and Northern Indiana
4:45 p.m. Ohio and Michigan
5:15 p.m. Wisconsin and West Virginia

Welcome Picnic 6:30 Chautauqua Park

A picnic for players, coaches and families will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Chautauqua Park on Thursday, July 28TH. Details will be available when you check in.

Coaches Breakfast

A Coaches breakfast will be held at Chautauqua Park at 7:30 a.m. on Friday July 29TH. There will be a short briefing by the Ohio Valley Regional officials and the head of umpires or designee will go over ground rules, procedures and any other information you need. Coaches will get to walk and look over playing field at this time.

Opening Ceremonies

All teams must be in uniform and assembled at Chautauqua Park by 6:45pm on Friday, July 29TH. A short program will take place followed by the National Anthem, My Old Kentucky Home and first ball ceremony. Also being honored during the ceremony will be the first team from Owensboro to advance to the Babe Ruth World Series the 1958 Ky State Champions and the last team from Owensboro to advance to the Babe Ruth World Series the 2003 Ky State Champions.

The host team and their opponent will remain on the field for their game.
